hey, does anyone know anything about composting bins, or composting for that matter. thinking about getting a smith and hawken biostack (on sale at our local water conservation center for half-price).

how do those compost bins work? i'm thinking about building a worm bin but have no idea where to start. anyone have any suggestions? what's the difference between the two?

So we've been pretty lazy composters, we don't do much, but add stuff. So I bought a compost crank and it works marvels. It takes a minute or so and very little effort and my whole pile is turned. I had been thinking about getting a tumble compost bin, but with the crank, it's easy in any sort of bin or pile.
